We are a private stud, based just outside Grangecon Village, in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.
The Stud produces thoroughbred horses to race and sell.
Grangecon Stud is located in West Wicklow, close to the border of Counties Kildare and Wicklow. The historic Curragh plains, home to racing from pre-history right up to the present day, are close by.
The Stud itself is steeped in history - Grangecon Demesne has been in existance since Elizabethan times and was once the seat of the O'Mahony family.
The farm has been extensively improved and modernised by the present owners, with a view to creating an ideal environment for thoroughbred horses, and is now home to twenty five mares and their foals and yearlings.
